Have you always wondered what it must be like to be within the buildings of the European institutions? What it would be like to be seating in those spectacular assemblies as a Member of the European Parliament?  Well now you have the opportunity to experience it all!

The European Parliament Information (EPIO) Cyprus is organising an Educational Trip to Brussels, on which EYP Cyprus has received 10 available places for its Alumni. The educational trip to Brussels is a unique opportunity for members of the European Youth Parliament Cyprus to contextualise their knowledge on European politics and any previous experience with the organisation whilst interacting with Members of the European Parliament and other staff.

The trip is set to take place between Wednesday 24th to Saturday 27th June 2015.

The group will be comprised of 30 individuals aged 18-30 and EYP Cyprus has been allocated 10 places. Other participants will include 10 Greek-Cypriot and 10 Turkish-Cypriot elementary school teachers.

The visit will include, amongst others:

  • Visit to the European Parliament and participation at a mini- parliamentarian session
  • Visit and lunch at the European Commission
  • Visit to the European Economic and Social Committee
  • Visit to the Committee of the Regions
  • Visit to the Parliamentarium
  • Meeting with Members of the European Parliament
  • Afternoon and evening activities.

The trip will be partially funded by the European Parliament.
