The European Youth Parliament (EYP) Cyprus would like to officially announce that its 5th National Session will be taking place from the 1st-4thSeptember 2011, at the Xenion High School in Paralimni.
Fifteen schools from across the island will be attending the session, along with various participants from other European countries who will be assisting the Cypriot officials with the organisation of the session; adding a more European element to the session. This year’s central theme is concerned with the need for finding balance in the relationship between the youth and the civil society and rebuilding trust.
The annual national session of the EYP Cyprus is the organisation’s main event of the year, as it is the largest event which is held, aiming to offer to Cypriot students the opportunity to interact with their peers and share their opinions on important topics which affect the European community. The four- day-long annual session also determines the schools that will be going abroad to represent Cyprus at International Sessions and Forums of EYP.
EYP Cyprus is a non-profit organization and, as a result, relies solely on the income raised from its various sponsors. Without the kind contributions of its sponsors, EYP Cyprus would not have the means to reach out to students throughout Cyprus, giving the students opportunities to represent their schools on a national level and Cyprus on an international level. EYP Cyprus promotes any sponsors who manage to contribute in any way to its events, through the use of flyers or company materials, along with the company logo being used on the session newspapers and banners.
EYP Cyprus attempts to organise session of the highest quality and, therefore, is still currently searching for additional sponsors. Should anybody be interested in sponsoring our organisation, any contribution whatsoever would be greatly appreciated, by both EYP Cyprus and the participating students.
Any person/company who believe they may be able to contribute anything to our organization, please contact the EYP Cyprus Committee Sponsorships Officer, Lefteris Marangos; tel. 99 325 200, email: email@example.com.
